Remembering Things (2025) reimagines the human form through an uncanny fusion of organic and alien textures. The sculpture’s cork and clay surface evokes both archaeological ruin and sci-fi relic, collapsing past and future into a single temporal body. Bhabha’s figures, often appearing as guardians or witnesses, stand between survival and transformation. In this work, material and memory intertwine: the body becomes a vessel of remembrance, echoing humanity’s enduring yet fragile presence.
