Artists are now confronted with new challenges and anxieties regarding their perception and expression of time and space. The rich spatial philosophy originating from ancient Greece persists today, shaping our understanding of time into increasingly geometric, abstract, and quantitative frameworks influenced by earlier thinkers. Consequently, there is an endeavor to elucidate the intrinsic nature of time and space itself. German artist Eberhard Ross immerses viewers in the 'Heterotopia' he meticulously crafts through his delicate brushwork and minimalist aesthetic. When confronted with his artwork, viewers experience a transformation in their sense of time as it yields to novel experiences; this 'spiritual aura' emanating from creation beckons us inwardly while prompting introspection.
